G!NA RENAY 365 COLLECTION: #364

I found this quote to  be quite appropo:
- Eleanor Roosevelt, 1884-1962There is a vitality, a life force, a quickening that is translated through you into action, and there is only one of you in all time, this expression is unique, and if you block it, it will never exist through any other medium; and be lost. The world will not have it. It is not your business to determine how good it is, not how it compares with other expression. It is your business to keep it y
ours clearly and directly, to keep the channel open. You do not even have to believe in yourself or your work. You have to keep open and aware directly to the urges that motivate you. Keep the channel open. No artist is pleased. There is no satisfaction whatever at any time. There is on a queer, divine dissatisfaction, a blessed unrest that keeps us marching and makes us more alive than the others. -- Martha Graham

It's so very important to listen and respond to the "quickenings" of the soul.... I had an appointment this morning and while in the waiting room, I crocheted, um, G!na, DUH!  wink using this purple variegated acrylic yarn.  I believe in bringing along my artwork everywhere I go, even if it is just a hook and string....It's about to get LIVE in just here joint, wink

Here is the finished project with matching earrings...."Royal Blush & Strut" because once you lift up and present your creative stitch to the world, you must also embrace the stirrings of joyful accomplishment honoring the audience of ONE, meeeee.....

Royal Blush & Strut -- purple for royalty and there are times when I am shy so I blush when praised....silly G!na....AND "strut" (get ova them self-conscious "shy" hiccups) because there is poetry in 'dem there stitches on the crochet runway...

It can also be folded over as well.  I enjoyed manipulating it into different "shapes" if you will. ENJOY!
