It's so very important to listen and respond to the "quickenings" of the soul.... I had an appointment this morning and while in the waiting room, I crocheted, um, G!na, DUH!  wink using this purple variegated acrylic yarn.  I believe in bringing along my artwork everywhere I go, even if it is just a hook and string....It's about to get LIVE in just here joint, wink

Here is the finished project with matching earrings...."Royal Blush & Strut" because once you lift up and present your creative stitch to the world, you must also embrace the stirrings of joyful accomplishment honoring the audience of ONE, meeeee.....

Royal Blush & Strut -- purple for royalty and there are times when I am shy so I blush when praised....silly G!na....AND "strut" (get ova them self-conscious "shy" hiccups) because there is poetry in 'dem there stitches on the crochet runway...

It can also be folded over as well.  I enjoyed manipulating it into different "shapes" if you will. ENJOY!

A-a-AND stitch away we go-o-o!  No time for stuttering but time for uttering forth a newness of my journey in crochet!

                       I love, love what I do and who I AM while hooking it

I will have to thank my children for re-introducing me to the slouchy hat.  Yesterday both my oldest and youngest daughters received these 2 hats as gifts.  I am grateful to them because it has caused a new paradigm shift in my stitchionary, wink

 My college girl (so very proud) was selected to present a talk in Boston on calculus and is being flown out with a few others from Atlanta next week.  Well, she needed warmer head gear and thus the matching set on top.  The youngest just loves hats I am finding out so she picked the variegated colors in the bottom picture.  I am looking forward to making more for my children and maybe (sigh) -- even as ages ago -- a Mommy and Me set.  Well, I can only hope, teehee (sniffle--they grow up so quickly)
